Thank you for visiting HOMEid. During the course of the work that we do in personalising your home we collect personal information about you. please see the below for more information about what information we collect and how we use it to personalise your homes’ identity.

1. What personal information we collect about you

• name
• contact information
• location
• interactions with us
• publicly available information about your property
• billing or purchase information

2. We use your personal information in order to

• Make recommendations to you about your proposed project
• Provide interior design services
• Communicate with you about your project
• Advise you of changes and improvements to our services
• Liaise with our partners and suppliers in relation to the provision of products, materials and labour for your project

Besides our staff, we share this information with:

• service providers in order for our suppliers to provide specific services on our behalf. As an example we may share some of your property and contact information with a partner window treatment provider. 

Providing some information is optional. However if you choose not to provide your name, physical address, email address, or phone number, we will be unable to provide services.

3. How we protect your personal information

We keep your information safe by storing it securely with password protections and only allowing HOMEid staff have access to this information.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. 4. How long we keep your personal information

We retain personal information regarding you or your use of our services for as long as your project is active or for as long as needed to provide you with our Services. In addition we also retain personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, for example, to comply with our legal obligations, to provide product warranties and other interests.  

The precise period for which we keep your personal information may vary depending on the nature of the information and why it is needed. For example some minimum periods are required by law. Others are recommended as best practice.

By nature interior design projects can take a long time to realise and there may be extenuating circumstances, we also often have repeat customers. As such we don’t immediately delete your personal information. Instead, we keep your personal information for a reasonable period of time, so it will be there for you if you come back.

You may request to delete your personal details by contacting us at kmagon@HOMEid.co.nz and  will delete your personal information for you (unless we need to retain it for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy).

Please note that in the course of providing our services, we collect and maintain aggregated, anonymized or de-personalized information which we may retain indefinitely.
